Creating New Records

There are several ways to create a new record in Trayse Inventory:

1. From the secondary menu, click the plus icon "+".  In this example, Purchase Order has been selected in the menu, revealing a secondary menu.

2. Click the Add + button on the top left of most layouts.  This will appear in both the list view and the detail view of that module.  There are a few exceptions such as the Transaction layout, which does not allow the manual creation, duplication, or deletion of records.

3. In the application window menu, go to Records/New _____ (in the image, it is "New Purchase Order".  For items it would be "New Item", etc.).

4. Using the same image above, users can also use the keyboard short-cut of Control+N on Windows or Command+N on Mac.
